Scarlet enthusiastically said, “Happy Pride, New York City!” and continued, “I’m here every single year, it’s good to be on the stage this year, b***h. My name is Scarlet Envy: I’m the drama. I’m blessed to introduce this performer to you. She’s an icon, she a legend and she’s a hometown hero.” During her performance, Cardi dazzled the crowd with popular tracks, including “Outside,” and built excitement for her album. Additionally, updates about Cardi’s album have included her addressing fan criticism of the tracklist. Cardi stated on social media that old singles like “WAP” would appear and defended her choices by saying, “These motherf***ers are just going to have to be mad.
